    About the workshop

    Criteria for Participants

    • Prior programming experience (Preferably in Java).
    • Basic understanding of distributed applications and MapReduce algorithms.
    • Familiarity with Hadoop and knowledge about its ecosystem.
    • Worked on large chunks of data.
    • Processed data files using Unix tools like cut, grep, sed, awk, etc.
